*Guitar Scales Trainer for The Student, Speed & Timing Accuracy For The Professional

Learning scales is an essential part of playing guitar and the ability to listen to and synchronise with other musicians around you is key in maintaining good timing and musicianship. Speedscale GT provides a route map to the Major scale patterns that beginners need to know and learn, along with the flexible speed options that professionals will find useful for warm up, practice and to help improve technique.

Play along with the patterns in Speedscale GT to learn the scales in all 12 keys, improve your timing, tune your hearing and gradually increase speed and accuracy. Speedscale GT is suitable for self tuition or can be used as part of a structured learning programme.

Use the Chromatic scale patterns to warm up and exercise your fret and picking hands. These simple patterns provide an ideal starting point before lessons to warm up the fingers and in particular to get your fourth finger moving and working up to speed.

Learn all five interlocking Major scale patterns in the key of your choice. These patterns can be used throughout the guitar neck with the key root note position indicated, relating to the pattern position on the neck.

Listen to the playback of the notes and follow the pick pattern as the scale rises from the sixth string to the first string and then returns back again in a loop. With regular practice you can learn the scales as you play along with the audio, tune your ear to sense the pitch of each note and improve your timing and picking technique.

Set the BPM to learn mode and use a low fixed speed while you learn and memorise a pattern. Gradually increase the speed as you become more competent. Once you are familiar with the pattern, you can start to use the speed mode where you input a low BPM start value and a higher BPM finish value to automatically have the speed increase periodically by the count and time value set in options.

Listen to the scale patterns as you play along with chords choosing a relative key to hear how the notes in the scale harmonize with the different chords you are playing.
